What matters for your PDC move.
Separate hot tub and swim-spa scope.
Identify whether you own a conventional spa or a swim-spa product such as TruSwim. Larger equipment and dual-zone designs need their own assessment. Do not select a transport plan from a brand name or seating description.
Find the hot tub series and model.
PDC lists Luxury, Premium and LifeStyle hot tub ranges. Provide the exact model, year and outside dimensions. Series information helps locate the right documentation, but it does not establish a universal size or dry weight.
Include the final placement layout.
Photograph the pad, nearest structure, service area and cover arrangement. Describe any enclosure or limited access at either location. Equipment access after placement matters alongside the route used to reach the destination.
Have these details ready.
A useful quote starts with the actual tub and the actual properties. Along with your pickup and delivery locations, please share:
- PDC model and product type: hot tub or swim spa
- Series, dimensions and approximate year
- Pickup/delivery layouts and equipment-access photos
There is no single dry weight, transport orientation or lifting method for an entire brand. Use the owner information for your model and year, and have the condition and access assessed before the move.
Before moving day in Utah.
Walk both routes, measure the narrowest openings and flag stairs, slopes, loose ground and tight corners. If the spa is built into decking or an enclosure, describe that before arranging a date. Salt Lake City and Wasatch Front moves can have very different access even over a short distance.
Coordinate electrical disconnection and reconnection with a qualified specialist. Follow the matching owner guidance for shutdown, draining and restart. If cold weather is expected, discuss residual water and the time between preparation and recommissioning. A quote request is not a confirmed booking.

Is a PDC TruSwim treated as a normal hot tub move?
No automatic equivalence should be assumed. Tell us it is a swim spa and provide the exact model and dimensions. Its access and transport feasibility need to be assessed separately.
Can you use a PDC series name to estimate weight?
A series alone is not enough. Use the documentation for the actual model and year, and have the condition and installed configuration considered before selecting moving equipment.
