MOVING GUIDES

Hot tub arrival checks before final placement

Check a spa on arrival before the final handoff, including condition, accessories, foundation readiness, equipment access and the remaining startup responsibilities.

Arrival is the time to compare condition, confirm the placement and account for accessories. Do those checks before filling the spa or covering inspection points with furniture and surrounding finishes.

Have the pickup record ready

Keep the earlier photographs, model details and written scope available. Compare the shell, cabinet, corners, cover and accessible base with the starting condition.

Record a concern specifically: its location, what is visible and when you noticed it. Report it promptly through the agreed contact rather than assuming a cause or signing an inaccurate condition statement.

Confirm the prepared foundation and orientation

Check that the site is the agreed finish location and that the responsible installer has confirmed readiness. Keep the equipment-panel side and cover movement in the placement plan.

The Calm manual requires suitable operating-load support and access to equipment.[12] The ability to unload the empty unit does not establish that the tub can be filled and used there.

Account for separately transported items

  • Confirm the cover and any stored lifting mechanism.
  • Check steps and other agreed accessories.
  • Keep permitted removable parts and their labeled fixings together.
  • Retain the manual and notes about model preparation.
  • Record missing or damaged items in the handoff information.

The accessory guide helps organize that list before collection so it can be checked accurately at arrival.

Keep changed placement separate from an instant instruction

If the proposed orientation or finish position changes, review access, foundation and electrical implications before agreeing. Do not rotate the spa into an enclosed corner simply because it looks better there.

Use the destination checklist to identify the requirements affected by a layout change.

Confirm what remains before startup

Identify the electrician or spa technician responsible for the new connection and any required commissioning. Follow the matching manual for filling, priming and water care.

Bullfrog warns against energizing an empty spa and gives limits for its priming procedure.[12] Keep the model's sequence available rather than pressing controls until something appears to work.

Record the first fill and operating observations

Some faults are visible only once water is added or a pump operates. Note the stage when moisture, an error message or unusual noise appears and contact the appropriate specialist.

The first-week guide covers those observations. The damage-protection checklist explains the reporting questions to settle before the move, so arrival is not the first time you search for the right contact.
